Chiropractic is a non-invasive, hands-on health care discipline that focuses on the neuro-musculoskeletal system. Chiropractors practice a manual approach. Doctors of Chiropractic are specifically trained to detect and correct misalignment (subluxation) in the spine and/or extremities, often before the patient is even aware they exist.

What is Wellness Chiropractic?

More often than not, when we tell someone that we are a chiropractic office, they immediately associate our vocation with neck and/or back pain. What many do not realize, however, is that chiropractic is a health care modality that provides significantly more than just a solution for pain.

Chiropractic is a lifestyle that involves all aspects of wellness, including exercise, nutrition, personal development, and stress relief. Also, making sure that the communication between the brain and body is functioning properly will typically ensure an overall healthy and vitalistic life. We have been fortunate to work with people from all walks of life (including newborns, children, and adolescents) and the outcome has been miraculous.

What is Chiropractic Applied Kinesiology?

There are various specialties in the chiropractic profession. Applied Kinesiology (AK) is a special type of technique that many chiropractors like to use as a diagnostic tool. AK chiropractors understand that a majority of our patient's conditions is due to an imbalance of our physical, chemical and mental well-being. Therefore, by assessing the body for an unregulated system, we can take specific measures to get the body back to homeostasis (normal) and ultimately alleviate the patient's conditions.

At Sound Chiropractic, we have found that many patients come in with deficiency in specific nutrients (Chemical), have a muscular and structural imbalance (physical), and/or have a poor mental health (mental) that is causing their ailments. After treatment and full compliance from the patients, we have seen 90-100% improvement in their overall health, as well as improvements in the complaint that they originally came in for.
