What are Chiropractors?

Chiropractors are university trained and are experts in spinal & neurological analysis, pain & discomfort treatment, exercise prescription, injury prevention, ergonomic consultation and many other areas of sports, health and wellness.

What do I need to bring?

Be prepared to provide your previous medical or surgical history. If you have them and if they are relevant bring scan/MRI reports, and list of medication. Also, if you have any previous X-rays taken, please email them to Dr. Rumedi at info@soundchiropractic.co

How many visits will I need?

The number of treatments or visits will vary depending on the problem and individual. After a thorough assessment, the chiropractor will discuss your treatment plan going forward.

What should I wear to my appointment?

To allow the Chiropractor to visibly examine your spine and lower & upper extremities, the patient is advised to wear a short sleeved shirt, as well as comfortable shorts to exposed the knees and ankle.

How do I make an appointment?

You can get in touch with our chiropractic assistant by calling (703)723-9355 or use the form under the contact page. Our lovely assistant will help you with booking appointments and answering any other questions that you may have.

Do I have to be referred by a doctor?

No, Chiropractors can assess and treat without referral by a doctor. However, some health insurance companies require a doctors referral before they authorize cover of fees, some only require a phone call. It might be a good idea to contact your health insurance to validate this claim prior to booking an appointment.

Treatment duration depends on your diagnosis, the severity of your impairments, your past medical history, and other factors.  Re-evaluations will be done to assess your progress and your Chiropractor communicates with your Physician to help you achieve your therapy goals.
